Inspiration for Angharad McLaren comes from worldwide travels and adventures; outdoor sports and activities such as windsurfing and sailing; sea life, nautical rope-work and marine environments; research into traditional weaving and textile techniques. Unusual materials are combined with more traditional materials to create unique designs. Combined with her award winning use of colour and strong technical weave skills she develops innovative designs with a modern, vibrant aesthetic.
