In partnership with Pittenweem Arts Festival, one of Scotland’s most popular, successful and well established annual art festivals, we will premiere Flashcraft during the opening day of the festival on Saturday 6 August 2011.

Flashcraft is an idea initiated and curated by Tina Rose with funding from Creative Scotland, and supported by Blue Iris Films, ActiveInquiry, Pooka.Pro and printing.com.

Flashcraft, a collaboration with Pittenweem Arts Festival, premieres on Saturday 6 August 2011.

Expect the unexpected as Pittenweem Arts Festival premieres this new experience. It’s fun, surprising and unmissable. Is it Prêt-à-Porter or Prêt-à-Craft? Impromptu during the afternoon (harbour area).

Also Flashcraft@the garage (Venue 55), South Loan, Pittenweem is open thoughout the festival with an extravaganza of craft by the flashcraft artists. Meet and buy from jewellers Gilly Langton and Alison MacLeod, ceramicists Jenny Pope and Lara Scobie and textile artists Paola McClure and Angharad McLaren.
