About
Flashcraft is a creative collaboration between craft, film and theatre. It is fun, surprising, beguiling and intriguing, bringing craft to arts audiences of all ages in an unexpected, entertaining and eye-catching way.
It has been developed in collaboration with Pittenweem Arts Festival, one of Scotland’s most popular, successful and well established annual art festivals, and will be premiered during the opening day of the festival on Saturday 6 August 2011.
Flashcraft is an initiative by Tina Rose piloted with funding from Creative Scotland and working with Pittenweem Arts Festival, theatre arts company ActiveInquiry and production company Blue Iris Films, with support from web development company Pookapro and printing.com.
Each Flashcraft event is imagined and curated for the venue and every performance is an individual experience. It can happen at any arts event with space and people.
